He is a specialist via MIR of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital San Juan de Alicante and research proficiency at the Miguel Hernández University. He has completed training stays abroad at the Sourdille Clinic, Nantes, France and at Klinikum Frankfurt Höchst, Frankfurt, Germany. In addition, he has several international degrees, such as the Fellowship European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO), Paris (2007), Fellowship European Vitreoretinal School (EVRS), Bremen, Germany (2008). He specializes in vitreous-retinal surgery, diabetic retinopathy, macular pathology and retinal detachment. Currently, he works in the Medical- Surgical Retina Unit of the University Hospital of Torrevieja and collaborates with clinics in the province of Alicante.
